The ancient Hopi prophecy, predicting the rise of a mysterious figure known as the “True White Brother” who wears a red cap and would change the nation forever, has come to light.
It was originally popularized when spiritual elder Thomas Banyacya brought it to the United Nations in 1992 and warned that this individual would arise during a time of great turmoil and rapid technological change.

He said, “We were told that three helpers who were commissioned by the Great Spirit to help Hopi bring about the peaceful life on earth would appear to help us. So we have been waiting all these years.”
This figure will appear as part of a series of events that will “shake up” the world twice, according to the prophecy.

“Now, we do not know who that nation is or what people. But they say those people will have a large population and they will also have much scientific inventions of all types,” Banyacya said in a 1972 video.
The prophecy was recently discussed by co-host Josh Hooper on the Sunday Cool podcast.
“It is known that our True White Brother, when he comes, will be all-powerful and will wear a red cap or red cloak,” Hooper said, displaying an image of Trump wearing his red MAGA hat.

“He will be large in population and belong to no religion but his own,” he added.
Hooper then said the man in the prophecy will be joined by two wise and powerful helpers, and speculated them to be U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Tesla founder Elon Musk.

However, according to the prophecy, one of these people would have a sign of the swastika and is female, and the other one will have the symbol of the sun.
Many Hopi spiritual leaders and Native American scholars have warned against taking the prophecies too literally.
Hopi prophecies often reflect spiritual lessons and cycles of change. They don’t usually refer to specific people, so the figure in red is more likely a representation of a broader archetype rather than an individual person.

For the Hopi, the concept of “purification” relates more to spiritual and environmental restoration than to political events.

“Nature, the First People and the spirit of our ancestors are giving you loud warnings,” Banyacya told the UN in 1992.
“If we humans do not wake up to the warnings, the great purification will come to destroy this world just as the previous worlds were destroyed,” he added.
