Podcaster Joe Rogan has revealed President Donald Trump’s weird texting habit and said he often calls him out of the blue.
On Wednesday’s episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan told Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang that Trump likes to use an iMessage feature to enlarge the text on messages.
It is similar to his signature Truth Social style, where he frequently posts in capital letters for emphasis.
- Joe Rogan revealed that Trump uses iMessage to enlarge text, mimicking his signature all-caps style on Truth Social for emphasis.
- Trump often calls or texts Rogan unexpectedly, the podcaster said, describing him as a 79-year-old child.
- Rogan has condemned Trump’s handling of the Epstein files, accusing him of misleading the public with inconsistent actions.

Rogan, mimicking the text getting larger, said, “When he texts you … he makes the text go big, like ‘USA is RESPECTED again’—all caps—and it makes the text enlarge.
“It’s kind of ridiculous.”
Rogan, 58, made the comments after recalling a phone call he received from Trump when he was with Jensen.
“We were talking about you [Rogan], we were talking about this UFC thing he’s going to do in his front yard,” Jensen said on the podcast.
He described Trump as being “so proud” of the design, adding that when the president asked if he knew Rogan and he said yes, Trump announced, “Let’s call him.”

“He’s like a 79-year-old kid,” Rogan replied, laughing, as he added, “He’s an odd guy, he’s very different than what you would expect from him.
“Very different than what people think of him and also just very different as a president, a guy who just calls or texts you out of the blue.”
Rogan endorsed Trump in the 2024 presidential election and hosted him for a three-hour episode of his podcast.
Many analysts believe it was Rogan’s last-minute endorsement that secured Trump the final votes he needed to be elected.
However, in recent months, Rogan has criticized the administration over its handling of the Epstein files and extensive immigration crackdown.

In a July episode, Rogan was speaking with Replit CEO Amjad Masad when he described the ICE raids as “insane.”
Rogan said one of the things that was “insane” was the targeting of migrant workers and not cartel members, gang members or drug dealers.
“Showing up in construction sites, raiding them. Gardeners. Like, really?” Rogan added.
His comments came about a month after he told Luis J. Gomez and Big Jay Oakerson that he thought Trump would have lost support if he revealed the extent of his immigration plans before the election.
“If the Trump administration, if they’re running and they said, ‘We’re gonna go to Home Depot and we’re gonna arrest all the people at Home Depot, we’re gonna go to construction sites, and we’re gonna tackle people at construction sites,’ I don’t think anybody would have signed up for that,” he said.
Rogan also criticized Trump over his refusal to release the Epstein files and subsequent U-turn, accusing him of gaslighting the public in July.

“This one’s a line in the sand because this is one where there’s a lot of stuff about, you know, when we thought Trump was going to come in and a lot of things are going to be resolved,” Rogan said on his podcast at the time.
“People are cynical because you had all this hope for change. And then you realize, like, ‘Oh, the same people that are pulling the strings are still pulling the strings.’”
After Trump U-turned and ordered Republicans to vote on forcing the release of the Epstein files last month, Rogan ridiculed him in an episode with comedian Brian Sampson in November.
“I heard there’s no files,” he said sarcastically. “I heard it’s a hoax. And then all of a sudden, he’s going to release the files. I thought there were no files. He wants an investigation now. Like, what is going on?”
