Bad Bunny has been slammed over and over by President Donald Trump and members of his administration, and it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

Far-right internet personality Laura Loomer was one of the conservatives who really could not handle watching Bad Bunny perform at the Super Bowl, and regularly updated her fans about her outrage on X.

Highlights
  • Bad Bunny made history as the first artist to perform an all-Spanish Super Bowl halftime show at Super Bowl LX.
  • Far-right personality Laura Loomer publicly criticized Bad Bunny's performance, calling for ICE raids during the Super Bowl.
  • Loomer's tweets were widely condemned as racist and ignorant, with social media users correcting her about Puerto Rico's U.S. status.

But her posts reached many more people than just her followers, and they are not happy

The Puerto Rican singer made history with the first all-Spanish Super Bowl performance, headlining the NFL’s Super Bowl LX halftime performance.

The six-time Grammy winner is now officially one of the most hated artists in MAGA World, given his criticism of Trump and his clampdown on immigration using the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) department.

Many have also geographically mistaken Puerto Rico as not being a part of the U.S., despite it being an American territory. To top it all off, Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, sang in Spanish throughout his entire performance.

For MAGA viewers who disagreed with the choice of artist, Turning Point USA staged its own counter-programming event. Dubbed the All-American Halftime Show, the alternative broadcast headlined by MAGA-aligned rocker Kid Rock alongside country artists. Loomer, though, chose to watch the NFL’s programming.

“Illegal aliens and Latin hookers twerking at the SuperBowl. Not a single white person or English translation at the Super Bowl. This isn’t White enough for me,” Loomer wrote on X.

“Cant even watch a Super Bowl anymore because immigrants have literally ruined everything.”

At another point, she tweeted, “What the hell is this illegal alien farm worker non English s**t on my TV. Someone call @ICEgov.”

Bad Bunny had previously canceled dates for his U.S. tour, partly due to fears of ICE raids during his shows.

Loomer called for ICE to raid the Super Bowl

In response, Trump’s adviser, Corey Lewandowski, said Immigration and Customs Enforcement would be present at the game.

The NFL later confirmed that ICE would not conduct any raids during the game.

Loomer, however, called for raids, saying again, “SOMEONE CALL IN AN ICE RAID AT THE SUPER BOWL! What are all of these foreign flags????? @RealTomHoman,” and tagging Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan

Bad Bunny had one segment where he named all the countries that make up the Americas, with performers holding up their flags. He mentioned, “Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil,” along with “United States, and Canada.” He then lifted a football that read, “Together, we are America.”

The word “racist” flooded Loomer’s social media handle, with netizens enraged at her tweets.

“This is truly some racist a** s**t. Anyone backing this bulls**t can f**k off,” said one user on X.

Another said, “holy s**t I’ve literally never seen a better example of white fragility. you cant handle even HEARING Spanish. it sends you in a uncontrollable spiral. it turns you into a tantrum-throwing racist toddler.”

X users condemned Loomer’s posts as racist and corrected her geography

Social media users commented, asking Loomer to take geography lessons. “Laura Loomer you stupid f**k. That man is PUERTO RICAN which is a US territory. Please go read a book or learn the history of the country you unfortunately work for. You racist piece of s**t,” an X user said.

“Bad Bunny (Benito Ocasio) is Puerto Rican. Puerto Rico is a territory of the USA. All citizens of Puerto Ricans are citizens of the USA,” schooled another.

A third said, “No wonder they want to control the education of our kids to make them as stupid as them,” while another called to “open the schools.”

“So much for ‘not watching,’” commented an X user. Another user spoke about the flags: “Those foreign flags are just fans from around the world repping their heritage or teams, you ignorant clown. If diversity triggers you this bad, crawl back to your all white bunker and boycott nobody’s missing your bitter a**,” they said.

Another joked, “Imagine being scared of flags.”

“America was literally built by immigrants and fueled by cultural fusion. If you want a ‘white-only’ event with no Latin influence, you’re watching the wrong country. The Super Bowl is global now, get used to it,” one user told Loomer.

As one meditating Kung Fu Panda put it: “I’m heartened to hear that it upset you.”

I know this is low hanging fruit, but Laura Loomer looks like someone wearing a life-like human mask, except she's not.
