Some pro-Trump social media personalities were tricked by a clearly fake flyer promoting a Turning Point USA (TPUSA)Super Bowl halftime show.
The flyer promised performances by Kid Rock, Ted Nugent, Jason Aldean, John Rich, and even a guest appearance by “Measles.”
The fake poster circulated online and on far-rightforums over the weekend.
- A clearly fake flyer claiming TPUSA's Super Bowl halftime show featured Kid Rock and Ted Nugent fooled some pro-Trump influencers.
- The flyer absurdly promised a guest appearance by “Measles,” referencing the anti-vaccine movement linked to RFK Jr.
- Right-wing commentators shared the fake flyer as confirmed news before later clarifying the lineup wasn’t official.

TPUSA, the conservative youth organization co-founded by the late Charlie Kirk, recently announced it would host an alternative halftime show to compete with Bad Bunny’s confirmed Super Bowl performance.
However, TPUSA has not released any official performer lineup.
The flyer featured Kid Rock, known for supporting Trump and leading the anti-trans Bud Light boycott, along with Ted Nugent, the rock musician who once asked Hillary Clinton to ride one of his machine guns “into the sunset.”
The flyer’s most absurd claim was a guest appearance by “Measles,” a reference to the anti-vaccine movement led by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s health secretary.
Lately, the U.S. has seen cases of measles, which had once been eradicated, amid RFK Jr.’s anti-vaccine stance that includes firing top health officials and undermining research.

Despite the obvious joke made with the flyer, some MAGA influencers shared it as real news.
John Strand, a right-wing commentator whose January 6 obstruction charges were overturned, tweeted, “WOW: It’s official. It’s happening. @TPUSA is launching the first-ever American Patriot Super Bowl Halftime Show. This is how we win. This is how we take our country back.”
The news of the lineup was also shared by some right-wing news outlets. On Patriots.win, a far-right online forum, successor of the subreddit The_Donald, right-wing MAGA fans celebrated.
“This is how you do it. Beat them at their own game,” one forum member wrote.
Three-time Grammy winner Bad Bunny is set to headline the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show. The Puerto Rican superstar will be singing in Spanish, a first for the Super Bowl.

Bad Bunny has been vocal about his views against U.S. President Donald Trump’s immigration policies—so it doesn’t come as a surprise that many conservatives, including Trump’s adviser Corey Lewandowski and House Speaker Mike Johnson, have criticized the choice.
Lewandowski said last month that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) would be present at the game to find illegal immigrants, while Johnson said the decision was “terrible” and recommended patriotic singer Lee Greenwood as his pick instead.
After sharing the flyer, Strand clarified that the artist lineup was not confirmed.
As @JackPosobiec stated today, the lineup pictured below is not official or confirmed…but the Turning Point Super Bowl Halftime Show most certainly is.
And judging by the explosive response to my tweet from deranged lefty’s…
This show is going to be BIBLICAL 🔥 https://t.co/lfflMgExYo
