A MAGA voter is going viral after posting an anti-ICE rant calling immigration raids “un-American” and insisting he “didn’t vote for this.”
It was a claim that Democrats were quick to challenge when the man’s social media post made its way over to Reddit.
In the post, the Trump supporter described ongoing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in Charlotte, North Carolina, as “harassment, intimidation and abuse of power.”
- A MAGA voter went viral for denouncing ICE raids in Charlotte as 'un-American' and violating constitutional rights.
- The voter criticized ICE for harassment, intimidation, and targeting people based on race during the raids.
- Democrats challenged the claim the voter didn't support these actions, saying voters knew what mass deportation meant.

It comes after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced Operation Charlotte’s Web to target immigrants living in the city.
City officials and civil-rights organizations have openly criticized the raids, with some calling the tactics heavy-handed, racially motivated and deeply destabilizing for immigrant neighborhoods.
Those claims were echoed by the unidentified MAGA supporter, who said that masked and armed agents in body armor were surrounding innocent civilians, demanding to know where they were born.
He further claimed that after civilians were identified as U.S. citizens or lawful residents, ICE agents were throwing bank cards and IDs out of unmarked SUVs at their feet, and said many were being targeted because of race.
“These actions are un-American, unprofessional, and would never be tolerated in a normal law enforcement agency. They are violating constitutional rights, destroying trust between communities and law enforcement, and creating a climate of fear and intimidation,” the man wrote.
“There is no meaningful oversight of these operations, and federal agents appear to be acting with almost complete impunity. Lawful immigrants, VAWA petitioners, green card applicants, and U.S. citizens alike deserve to live without being treated like criminals based solely on appearance or ethnicity.
“This is not acceptable. This is a dangerous path, and it must stop before more lives and rights are harmed. Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own communities, and aggressive, militarized operations like these undermine the very principles of justice and freedom we all rely on.”

He concluded his post, “SECURE THE BORDER — deport violent criminals and leave my landscaper, painter, carpenter, & pupusa lady alone!!”
While Democrats did not disagree with the MAGA voter’s points, they were quick to dispute his claim that it was not what he voted for.
Others also pointed out that although he insisted he wanted only gang members and serious offenders deported, ICE appears to be primarily pursuing people whose sole violation is lacking legal status.
“The thing that always amazes me is how surprised they are. They didn’t vote for THIS. narrator: but they had voted for this,” one Reddit user commented.

Another wrote, “The f**k did they think ‘Mass deportations now’ meant?”
“It drives me absolutely crazy how these people will be like ‘I thought he was going to deport criminals’ without realizing that being undocumented IS the ‘crime’ that they voted to respond to with this level of violence and inhumanity. It was never about gangs or drugs. This is exactly what you voted for,” a third commented.
One person posted, “They ignored that the person they voted for thinks or at least sold the idea that ‘if you’re here illegally, then you are a criminal.’
“They liked the racism. They just don’t like the inconvenience that other people’s suffering is now causing them.”

“Yes you did vote for this. And the information was out there. You knew, or should have known, what was coming,” another user added.
The post comes as activists respond to the ICE raids in Charlotte with a sustained campaign of organized resistance and community solidarity.
Grassroots groups such as Siembra NC and Indivisible Charlotte rallied thousands of volunteers to serve as observers, set up early-warning networks, and patrol neighborhoods.
