Mom And Twin 6-Year-Olds Involved In Mansion Tragedy Amid Contentious Divorce With Doctor Husband
A mother and her young twins were found dead in their $760,000 Arkansas home a day after her bitter divorce battle ended.
The bodies of Charity Beallis, 40, and her two children were found by Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office deputies responding to a welfare call on Wednesday, December 3.
Law enforcement officials initially struggled to gain entry to the home in Bonanza but were assisted by two workers at the property.

“Upon entering the home, they found three deceased individuals, a woman and two deceased children,” the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.
“It was apparent that the three had gunshot wounds.”
Authorities did not disclose the identity of the children, but court records obtained by People show they are around six years old.
The incident came one day after Charity had settled divorce proceedings with her husband, Dr. Randall Beallis, 56.
As reported by People, Charity had pleaded for full custody of her two children, while Dr. Beallis was arrested and charged with domestic violence in March.

He was alleged to have choked and caused physical harm to Charity on February 16 of this year, with Charity filing for divorce just one month later.
Beallis was handed a one-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty to third-degree battery in October, and was also ordered to pay $1,500 in fines.
As per online jail records, he was initially charged with aggravated assault on a family member, third-degree domestic battery, and two counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of a minor.
Beallis and Charity had attended a divorce hearing at the Sebastian County Courthouse on December 2, the day before her death, according to 5News.

At that hearing, which was the final proceeding in the divorce, Beallis was awarded joint custody of the children.
The day after the death of Charity and the children, Beallis filed for a motion to dismiss the case through his attorney because “the plaintiff passed away,” according to 5News.
In August, Charity detailed her struggles in the comment section of an unrelated 5News article.
According to People, she wrote, “I’m living this battle right now. I am the victim, yet I’ve been treated like the problem while the criminal—a local doctor—is being shielded by the very system that’s supposed to protect us.”
The comment added that she had “tried to reach Prosecuting Attorney Daniel Shue, but he won’t even accept a letter from me.”
“My voice, as the victim, has been shut out. This is not just about me—this is about a system that protects offenders and rejects victims.
“Lives are at stake, including the lives of young children. The case is public information: State of Arkansas vs. Randy Beallis, Case No. 66GCR-25-31 (available on Court Connect). Transparency matters. Accountability matters. Victims matter,” Charity concluded.

Her eldest son, John Powell, told KNWA that his mother would have fought “tooth and nail” to protect his younger siblings.
“My mother fought for nine months, the last nine months, to save her life and them babies, and nothing happened,” John said. “Now all three of them is dead.”
“She went out with a fight,” he added.
Beallis’ attorney, Michael Pierce, said in a statement to The New York Post, “Mr. Beallis has been cooperative with law enforcement and fully supports the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office investigation.
“We hope that the sheriff’s office finds the truth about what happened to Mrs. Charity Beallis and their children.’’
Investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
