The QAnon Shaman, one of the most infamous faces of the January 6, 2021, riot, has targeted Donald Trump and a host of others in a $40 trillion lawsuit.

Jacob Chansley filed a bizarre 26-page lawsuit in the Maricopa County Superior Court on Monday, claiming he was the rightful leader of the U.S.

He even appeared to accuse the National Security Agency (NSA) of leaking information from his computer that then went on to inform story elements of The Dark Knight and Avatar.

Highlights
  • Jacob Chansley, the QAnon Shaman, filed a $40 trillion lawsuit targeting Trump, NSA, Elon Musk’s X, Israel, and others.
  • Chansley claims he’s the rightful U.S. leader and demands $38 trillion to pay national debt and $1 trillion for infrastructure.
  • He alleges NSA spied on him, stole his crypto, and that his writings influenced The Dark Knight and Avatar movies.

Trump and several others are named in the lawsuit, including Elon Musk’s X, the Federal Reserve, the state of Israel, T-Mobile, and Warner Bros. Studios.

The lawsuit, seen by the Phoenix New Times, is seeking $1 trillion for Chansley’s “personal, emotional, mental and spiritual torture and years worth of anguish.”

Chansley also demanded $38 trillion to pay off the U.S. government’s debt and $1 trillion to rebuild America’s infrastructure.

In his conclusion, Chansley declared himself as the first president of the “New Constitutional Republic of the United States” and said his first act would be to pay off America’s debt by ordering the Federal Reserve to mint a $40 trillion one-ounce gold coin.

He further declared Phoenix as the new capital in the rambling document, and stated the Bill of Rights and the original U.S. Constitution are the only laws in his America.

Some claims made by Chansley’s in his lawsuit, as per Phoenix New Times, include:

    • The Federal Reserve and the broader central banking system violate the U.S. Constitution.
    • The U.S. government is committing treason by favoring the interests of foreign bankers over those of American citizens.
    • The NSA monitored Chansley on a daily basis under the Patriot Act while he was drafting what he called a “Second Declaration of Independence.”
    • Virtually all radio stations—and most of their DJs—are linked to the intelligence community.

    • A scene from the 2008 Christopher Nolan film The Dark Knight and multiple story elements from 2009’s Avatar were taken from his writings and show that the NSA was spying on him.
    • The NSA deceived Chansley on Facebook by posing as actress Michelle Rodriguez, whom he describes as his “celebrity crush.”
    • That he was “offered” covert work with NASA to address “otherworldly matters,” believing his “shamanic beliefs” made him “an ideal candidate.”
    • On January 8, 2021, he received an email from Donald Trump sent from the address donaldtrump@nsa.gov.
    • More than $100,000 in cryptocurrency was stolen from him by the U.S. Government.

Chansley was one a Trump superfan but recently turned on the president

Also named in Chansley’s lawsuit are the NSA, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Bank of International Settlements, and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

Chansley was once a devoted Trump supporter and rallied against the president’s 2020 election loss to storm the U.S. Capitol in a horned headdress.

His attire earned him the ‘QAnon Shaman’ nickname after he was photographed bare-chested, covered in red, white, and blue face paint, and wearing a fur headdress with Viking horns.

Prosecutors said Chansley entered the Senate chamber, climbed onto the dais used by then-Vice President Mike Pence, and left a note reading, “It’s Only A Matter of Time. Justice Is Coming!”

Footage released in 2023 from inside the Capitol showed Chansley being escorted around inside by Capitol police officers, who were seen helping him enter the chamber.

Chansley also led chants through a bullhorn, according to the Justice Department.

He was sentenced to 41-months in prison in November 2021 for his actions that day, but he was released from prison in 2023 after serving half of his sentence.

He was pardoned by Trump for his role in the January 6 attack after the president was elected to serve a second term.

But the once devoted superfan turned on Trump earlier this year over his refusal to release the Epstein files.
