Of all the things said about U.S. President Donald Trump, it’s the orange hue on his face and the sweep of blonde that the internet can never seem to understand—or stop ridiculing.
Trump is usually seen with a tan a few shades darker than his natural skin color, sporting an orangish glow, and pale skin popping out on the sides of his face.

Trump attended the wedding of Dan Scavino, his Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Personnel, and Erin Elmore, the Department of State Director of Art in Embassies, at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
His makeup-less look has since gone viral, with the president looking starkly different.
Many experts have suggested that Trump uses both tanning beds and spray tans to achieve this skin tone, and possibly wears goggles during the treatment, causing the area around his eyes to be lighter in shade.
Trump’s team has previously denied using a self-tanner.

The image brings back a Reddit edit of what Trump would actually look like without his infamous makeup. The image in reference was taken on 21 September last year, as Trump spoke to reporters after attending Charlie Kirk’s memorial, and his makeup looks very, very orange, while his ears maintain what would be Trump’s natural pale skin tone.
A Reddit user took the September image and edited the rest of his face to match his ears, and surprisingly, some people missed the orange look.

“I unironically think that the fact he looks like a clown is part of his inexplicable bulletproofness,” said one person, while another wrote, “That was actually pretty neat. I didn’t realize before how iconic his look was though – even though the update looks better, he just looks like a regular dude. His brand (no matter how revolting) is very effective.”

Some people appreciated the look. “Funny part is he looks more dignified without it Older sure, but at least he’s not looking like a jersey shore reject,” one person said.
A second wrote, “His actual color is MUCH paler than this. Pinkish and white even. When he doesn’t have his makeup on you can see his arteries and veins like any other 80 year old.”

Comments on Trump’s latest look were even more mocking.
On X, one user said the president looked “ghostly…I mean ghastly.” Another user wrote, “He’s Whiter than I am and I didn’t think that was possible. I glow in the dark.”
A third likened Trump to their “late grandmother.”

Many people also zoomed in on the image and noticed that Trump seemed to be missing some teeth. “Did the senile old Buffoon lose or forget his front dentures before joining the party?” said one user on X.
