The image appeared on the cover of the magazine’s latest issue, celebrating Trump’s Middle East peace deal.
Time unveiled the cover on Monday with the headline “His Triumph.”

The image was taken from a low angle, showing Trump gazing upward into bright sunlight.
- Trump called the Time magazine cover photo a 'super bad' image that made his hair disappear and showed a tiny floating crown above his head.
- The cover praised Trump’s Middle East peace deal, with headlines like 'His Triumph' and articles on the Israel-Hamas ceasefire and Gaza healing.
- Trump signed the Gaza peace declaration after visits to Israel and Egypt, earning a standing ovation at the Knesset and praise from Egypt’s leader.
The cover praised Trump’s role in brokering a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas with articles titled, “The Leader Israel Needed,” and “How Gaza Heals.”
Trump said the picture “disappeared” his hair and showed a “floating crown” above his head, saying the image “may be the Worst of All Time.”
“Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time,” Trump wrote on Truth Social early Tuesday.
“They ‘disappeared’ my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one. Really weird!”

He then called the image “a super bad picture that deserves to be called out.”
Trump returned to Washington, D.C., on Tuesday after a short trip to Israel and Egypt, where he signed the Gaza peace declaration with regional leaders.
In Israel, he met the families of freed hostages and addressed the Knesset, where he was welcomed with a standing ovation.
In Egypt, he attended a summit in Sharm el-Sheikh. Egyptian leader Abdel Fattah el-Sissi, the co-chair of the summit, told Trump, “only you” can bring peace to the region.
Trump said leaders now had “a once-in-a-lifetime chance to put the old feuds and bitter hatreds behind us,” in his speech, and called on them to “declare that our future will not be ruled by the fights of generations past.”
‘I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles,’ Trump said.

The Time magazine story detailed how Trump’s team, including envoy Steve Witkoff and adviser Jared Kushner, sealed the Gaza ceasefire deal.
The article said the deal “could become a signature achievement of Trump’s second term,” which paves the way for a “new era” for the region, “defined less by conflict than by the possibility of transformation.”
The ceasefire led to the release of all Israeli hostages and about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners.
Trump appreciated the article, but criticized the photograph.
“I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out. What are they doing and why?” he wrote.
Trump has a long history with Time magazine. He has appeared on its cover many times, both positively and negatively, and was named Person of the Year twice.
