A Utah mother is the focus of an international search after allegedly abducting her four children and flying to Europe because she feared the world was entering “end times.”
According to ABC4, Elleshia Anne Seymour, 35, took her four children, aged between three and 11, on a one-way flight to Croatia, via Amsterdam, on November 29.
- Elleshia Seymour allegedly kidnapped her four children and flew to Europe fearing the world was entering 'end times.'
- She left a bizarre to-do list including shredding documents and buying a prepaid phone, linked to a delusional message from God.
- Seymour was charged with four counts of custodial interference and removing a child from the state.
CCTV footage later obtained from the Salt Lake City International Airport by the outlet showed the moment Seymour boarded the flight with the children.

Her car was also traced in the parking lot at the airport.
The father of three of the children said Seymour had written a “delusional” note dictating a message from God and a bizarre to-do list.
The list included shredding paperwork, destroying identifying photos, disposing of a phone, and purchasing a prepaid phone.
Seymour has since been charged with four counts of custodial interference and removing a child from the state.
Court documents seen by ABC4 show that the Jordan Police Department found Seymour’s home unlocked and empty after officers were called to do a welfare check on December 2.

Seymour, who has a shared custody agreement with the children’s two fathers, left a voicemail with one of them on that same date, ABC4 reported.
In the voicemail, she allegedly said that she was in France and had taken the children because “end times” were coming.
She also informed the father that she planned on securing a permanent residence abroad.
On December 10, the Utah Department of Public Safety issued an endangered and missing advisory for the children, identified as Landon Hal Seymour, Levi Parker Seymour, Hazel Raye Seymour, and Jacob Kurt Brady.
As per ABC4, authorities said that neither of the fathers had given permission for the children to be taken from the country, and they believe she has no intention of returning to the U.S.

One of the fathers, Kendall Seymour, has made a fundraising page so he can travel to collect his three children when authorities trace them.
“To put it bluntly, my kids have been abducted overseas by their mother,” he wrote on the page.
“On Sunday Nov 30th, my ex-wife flew to Europe, kidnapping all three of my kids and her fourth child from another dad. We didn’t learn until Tuesday Dec 2 that anyone was missing.
“Elle forged passport documents for the kids, left behind a note dictating a delusional message from God promising her she would be in Italy by Christmas, and a to-do list that mentioned ‘shred paperwork, destroy identifying photos, throw away phone, purchase pre-paid phone.’”
He continued, “If we can be there to get them asap after mom is arrested, they will feel safer and will not suffer as much wondering what is going to happen to them, to their mom, and to their future.”

“She hasn’t been located, but the FBI has good people working on it who love their job, and working together with family connections will get the kids home as soon as possible.”
Kendall told ABC4 that his hope was for an INTERPOL warrant to be issued, which would give police abroad the authority to arrest Seymour.
He further told KSLTV that he was not aware of his ex-wife’s extreme religious beliefs and only recently found out about them through TikTok.
“I didn’t know about any of these ideas of hers until a couple of weeks ago, when someone found her TikTok account … She thinks Salt Lake is going to be destroyed, and she is trying to get the kids to safety. My only hope is that she is motivated to protect them,” he said.
“There were no signs of that when we were married or divorced in the last five years.”
Seymour has not yet been traced, and the FBI is assisting the West Jordan Police Department with the investigation.
