Film director Woody Allen’s wife, Soon-Yi Previn, has appeared several times in a trove of documents connected to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Along with branding a teenager involved in a sexting scandal as “despicable and disgusting” in an email, Previn told Epstein that the #MeToo movement had gone too far.

Her emails to the convicted sex offender were publicly revealed over the weekend after the Justice Department released about 3.5 million documents connected to the case.

The release came weeks after a deadline for the files’ publication had passed. With many being redacted, the DOJ said no more would be disclosed, despite holding an estimated 6 million files.

Several high-profile individuals have been named in the files, including Allen and Previn, whose relationship is widely seen as controversial.

Being named in the files does not imply wrongdoing.

The newly released files show that in September 2016, Previn forwarded a news article about former U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner’s sexting scandal to Epstein.

The article concerned Weiner’s texting with a 15-year-old girl that had sparked public outrage after he asked her to engage in rape fantasies and undress for him.

“Wow,” Epstein replied to the email.

“I know,” Previn said, adding, “I also thought it was disgusting what the 15-year-old did to [Weiner].”

“I hate women who take advantage of guys and she is definitely one of them. She knew exactly what she was doing and how vulnerable [Weiner] was and she reeled him in like fish to bait,” Previn continued.

Referring to the child at the center of the scandal, Previn questioned, “What is her excuse for being a despicable and disgusting person who preys on the [weak]?”

“So manipulative on her part. She should be ashamed of herself.”

In May 2017, Weiner pleaded guilty to transferring obscene material to a minor and was sentenced to 21 months in prison.

Previn also spoke of the #MeToo movement in an email sent to Epstein in early 2018, which she had initially sent to herself before forwarding it on to Epstein.

“Just as the Me Too movement has gone too far so has Botox,” the subject line read.

Later that year, Previn griped about her stepbrother Ronan Farrow winning the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for his explosive investigative reporting in The New Yorker on the sexual assault allegations against Harvey Weinstein.

The email, which was also originally sent to herself, said in the subject line, “I thought this was funny in today’s New York Times in the Arts section.”

The body of the email added, “It gives Ronan Farrow too much prestige. More than he deserves.”

Another part of the newly released documents shows pre-arranged shipments of items, such as DNA test kits from the company 23andMe, sent to Allen and Previn by Epstein or his associates.

Allen, 90, and Previn, 55, were also reported to have dined at Epstein’s home on at least one occasion.

Previn’s relationship with Allen has been controversial for decades.

She was adopted as a child by the conductor André Previn and actress Mia Farrow, Ronan Farrow’s mother, from South Korea.

After Mia Farrow and Andre Previn divorced, Farrow began a long-term relationship with Allen, who would later marry her adopted daughter, Previn.

Previn was just 11 when she met Allen, although the couple has insisted that their romantic relationship did not begin until 10 years later, when she was 21.

At the time, Allen was still in a relationship with Farrow, and their involvement became public in 1992 after Farrow discovered nude photographs of Previn in Allen’s apartment, bringing the relationship into the open and sparking widespread media attention.

Many have accused Allen of grooming Previn while he dated her mother. Previn and Allen went on to marry in 1997, five years after their relationship became public.

In 2021, Allen was again forced to deny allegations that he molested his adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, when she was a child in 1992, after accusations resurfaced in an HBO documentary series Allen v Farrow.

Dylan has alleged that she was sexually abused by Allen as she played with a toy train when she was just seven years old.

In a 2021 statement to The Hollywood Reporter in response to the allegations, Allen and Previn said, “As has been known for decades, these allegations are categorically false.

“Multiple agencies investigated them at the time and found that, whatever Dylan Farrow may have been led to believe, absolutely no abuse had ever taken place.”

Neither Previn nor Allen have publicly commented on the newly released emails.
